【Work Introduction】

※Comments are excerpted.

<1> Horiei's work "The Allure of Carbon ~SD-1~" "

I'm obsessed with the allure of carbon fiber (cloth), so I applied it to my beloved BOSS SD-1, which is Effector.

<2> Iki Sugita DIY's Work "Wind Vibe "

This is a rotary speaker using a fan. The sound is more vivid than expected, with an analog Faeser that sounds like a Uni-Vibe. The main reason for using a fan is that the motor is cheap and you can adjust the speed with your foot. You can change between low, medium, and high, and the on/off change is also effective.

<3> JC893's creation "KANIFACE "

A FUZZ made using a real snow crab shell, aptly named KANIFACE. Key points: The real crab shell was painted with brass powder. In order to fit the circuit board and battery into the limited space inside the shell, the case was adjusted down to the millimeter, countless prototypes were made, and a 3D printer was used to finally complete it.

<4> matsu_log's creation "(Probably) World's Smallest Effector, Bottle Cap FuzzFaceNano "

I tried fitting the FuzzFace circuit into a plastic bottle cap. As far as I can tell, there's nothing smaller than this. It includes standard DC terminals, a 3.5mm jack, and an ON/OFF switch so it can be used like a regular FuzzFace. Turning it ON/OFF switches between red Fuzz mode and green bypass mode, changing both the sound and the LED.

<5> Kazuo's creation "Disco (ディスコ) "

I wanted to build my own Effector. I wanted to combine it with a Effector I use often, and I liked the name "Disco" (Distortion and Chorus). So I incorporated a Boss CE-3 into a DIY distortion kit and used this single unit to create my own sound!

<6> Itarian's creation "GAS ECHORUS (Gas Echo-Rush) "

I expressed the flickering of flames using spatial effects sounds. I used an empty gas cartridge can from camping, modified into a case for the Effector. I got a used one from a friend, so I used that.

<7> lenheyvan's creation "Ice Wall CLEAN "

This is a dedicated clean tone Effector that felt like it should exist but didn't. Turning up the Body knob gives a boxy resonance, while turning up the Bright knob produces a bell-like ring reminiscent of fuzz with the volume rolled back. It should deliver a crystal-clear clean tone, as if you were playing guitar in front of an Antarctic ice wall.

<8> Eleven's creation "Surprise Muff! "

While pondering what to do with my beloved Big Muff, I discovered an unused toy in my child's toy box. Inspired by the theme "Make Effector even more fun," I turned it into a playable Effector. Stabbing Mike Matthews with a sword is dangerous, so I used his trademark cigar instead.

<9> Combustible Waste Bin's creation "Dist+ Remote" Flash

The MXR Distortion+ can now be controlled via a remote with a level meter. The remote features a clip for attaching to straps or similar items. The level meter on the remote moves in response to your playing, allowing you to enjoy the visual movement.

<10> Robotta's work "WHAT IF? "

Based on the concept of "What if electric guitars had been sold 20 years earlier?", this germanium booster was meticulously crafted using parts salvaged from 1940s vacuum tube radios, with particular attention to materials and construction methods.

<11> Forestman's work "Muff Console & Booster Cassette "

I based the design on my first impression when seeing a BIG MUFF: "It looks like a F◯CON..." The underlying concept was simply "I want to make a Muff with an insanely huge sound." The unit features a booster designed to look like a "cassette," which plugs directly into the main body via a straight plug.

<12> Sushi-Tation's creation: "BOSS Enclosure Mongoose "

This is Roger Mayer's Mongoose Fuzz housed in a BOSS enclosure. The enclosure is colored and decorated with stickers inspired by the jacket of Supercar's first album, "Three Out Change".

<13> By Nakaro Bonmin Aaru: "Wearable Fuzz for Pickup on Pick" "

I modified it to be wearable for handheld pickups.

<14> Angus Nakano's work "Sun-Craft Diversity System The Schaffer Replica "

The modification involves housing the Solodallas Storm and Love Pedal JTM within a single enclosure, crafted to resemble the Schaffer-Vega Diversity System. I wanted to achieve Angus Young's sound and, while searching, arrived at the Schaffer-Vega, which is arguably the heart of it all. As a high school Angus fan, I believe the result is something I can be proud of.

<15> Goodsontoys' creation "V8 Fuzz / Time Machine Ver.3 "

I built a thunderous FUZZ into a 1/24 scale DeLorean. The FUZZ uses my original custom board. The theme is a cool sound with thunderous volume. This FUZZ won't let anyone say it lacks volume.

<16> Kenji Fujiwara's creation "MyRAT "

This is a modified RAT. When you first turn it on, you choose a character from two options. The tone changes depending on the character you choose. On the normal screen, the character walks around. If you don't play it for 3 days, it weakens. If you don't play it for a week, it dies. If you play it (turn it on) every day for 7 days, you can equip sunglasses. Equipping the sunglasses changes the sound.

<17> Sapporo Strobe Lights' work "Pencil BIG MUFF "

The carbon-solid resistors used in the Old BIG MUFF apparently have a structure like a pencil lead. Come to think of it, I remember in elementary school science class, we ran electricity through a pencil lead to light a bulb. Thinking about that, I made this "Pencil BIG MUFF". I attached a pencil as an electronic component to part of the current BIG MUFF circuit.

<18> Akira Akaiishi's work "Daishangen Booster "

Since I love mahjong, I built a custom Effector modeled after mahjong tiles. Each of the white, red, and green tiles is a different type of booster.

<19> Ken T. (YSXL)'s work "Echo of Departure "

A gadget Effector incorporating a "bus stop button" gimmick into the delay. Pressing the button triggers an "Next stop" announcement, followed by a delay effect layered over guitar sounds. Turning the tempo knob during playback changes the playback speed, delivering a trippy sound experience.

<20> Gen McGuinness's work "Black Cat Overdrive "

Just a clone of the Black Cat OD. My wife's hand-drawn, laid-back illustration is surprisingly popular.

That makes 20 entries in total!!!

Voting closes on Sunday, October 5th. Everyone, please vote for your favorite work!!
