[Loud/Wild] "FG-180" Special Buyback Campaign [Advance Guitars]

Hello there.

This is Naitou from Advance Guitars.
Lately, I’ve been feeling a bit sluggish, so I’ve started working out.
Since I get sore muscles the same day or the next, it reassures me that “my body is still young.” My goal is to get a six-pack.

But let’s get to the main topic…
Do you know about Japan’s first original acoustic guitar?
The “FG-180,” released by Yamaha in 1966.
This is the progenitor of domestically produced original acoustic guitars.
The “180” in the model name represents the list price at the time: 18,000 yen.
That was equivalent to a month’s salary for a typical office worker back then.(That’s pretty pricey, isn’t it?)
When you mention the FG-180, words like “Red Label” and “loud sound” come to mind.
That “loud sound” aspect is particularly memorable—every time we purchase an FG-180, we find ourselves wondering, “How can a plywood body produce such a massive sound…?”
It’s certainly not what you’d call a refined tone, but it has the kind of appeal you’d find in junk food—the kind you crave a few times a week.

Here at Advance Guitars, we’re very eager to get our hands on that wild “FG-180.”
I don’t think there are many other shops besides ours running a trade-in campaign for the FG-180.
Below are some examples of our trade-in prices. We actively buy not only original models from that era but also reissue models.
