Sound Trade is a brand based in Osaka that handles setup and manufacturing, crafting high-quality instruments.

This model features an ash body with a slab-on-slab rosewood fingerboard in a JB configuration.
It's an active setup equipped with an Aguilar OBP-3 preamp, featuring controls for master volume, pickup balancer, midrange, and treble/Bass.
The midrange knob allows switching frequency bands via push/pull.

It differs slightly from the typical hi-fi modern active Bass. With EQ flat, it delivers a focused, punchy attack with a distinct "thump" in the midrange.
Its major appeal lies in its ability to produce an organic, natural sound through subtle on-the-fly adjustments rather than requiring bold EQ shaping.
