Santa Cruz' has been producing high quality Martin copies since 1976.
Santa Cruz is well known for its faithful reproduction of "Vintage Martin" guitars used by Tony Rice and Elvis Costello.

The model introduced here is a Hawaiian Koa model made in 2017.
The Santa Cruz "H" model is based on an acoustic guitar from the 1930s with Santa Cruz's own unique arrangement.
The spruce top is very tight-grained, giving it a high-class feel, but the most distinctive feature of this guitar is the use of Hawaiian koa for the body, which has an exotic grain.
In recent years, Hawaiian Koa acoustic guitars are not so rare, but they are still less familiar than Mahogany/Rosewood guitars.
The dynamic sound is unimaginable from the small body, about the size of a Martin 00, and the crisp and honest sound of Hawaiian koa is very appealing.
The sound is very attractive, and the sound is very clear and honest, which is typical of Hawaiian koa. The sound is straightforward and the overtones are subdued, which may give the impression that it is insufficient for those who are familiar with authentic acoustic instruments, but as a harmonic instrument, it is an excellent high-end instrument with a less muddy sound.
