Explanation
When searching for vintage-style archtop or Les Paul-type guitars, haven't you ever felt that "the specs are close, but something just isn't right"?
That "something" might not just be the wood or design, but the philosophy passed down by the makers and the memories of the workshop itself.
Heritage Guitar was founded in 1985 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This location is sacred ground, home to the Gibson factory until 1984. Heritage is a brand launched by craftsmen who actually worked building guitars at that Gibson Kalamazoo factory. They remained to "continue building guitars as they should be, with our own hands."
The newly arrived H-150 is Heritage Guitars' flagship model. It features an archtop construction with a maple top and a solid mahogany back. It employs a classic and perfected wood material combination: a mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard.
Despite its solid body, the sound possesses the rich harmonic resonance typical of hollow-body guitars. Its response to picking is exceptionally fast, faithfully expressing every nuance of touch. Clean tone chord strums are three-dimensional with depth, while deep distortion during solo play delivers substantial thickness and a distinct sheen without losing its core.
"I love vintage, but I want an instrument that's ready for the real world." For players like this, the H-150 is the ideal instrument.
This archtop wasn't crafted by tracing Gibson's past, but by those who understand Gibson's spirit, built with today's precision. Those who know the lineage will feel this guitar's persuasive power.
