Unique vintage swell pedal from DOD made in USA!
There are three controls: DECAY, ATTACK, and CUT/BOOST. Originally developed as a pedal that could approximate a reverse (reverse rotation) guitar sound (due to the amplitude of the sound being swelled rather than attenuated), it is completely different from the famous BOSS SG-1. By pressing the footswitch at about the same time as picking, a volumetric sound is produced. The SG-1 was so unpopular at the time that very few units were produced, and it has come to reign as one of DOD's rarest pedals. By stepping on the footswitch piecemeal, it can also be used as a tremolo (manual tremolo). The correct way to use this pedal depends on the person who plays it.
Controls:
Decay (0.7 to 2.0 seconds) - controls how long it takes for the signal to return to normal when the switch is released.
Attack (20 ms to 1.0 second) - controls the amount of time before a cut/boost occurs when the switch is pressed.
Cut/Boost (-37dB to +14dB) - When the switch is pressed, the signal is cut if the knob is counterclockwise from the center position and boosted if the knob is clockwise from the center position.
