The top of the body is made of special cedar wood grown in the precincts of Nikko Toshogu Shrine, a sacred site in Japan. The full and delicate sound of the wood grown in this sacred place has a softness that easily seeps into the listener's heart.
The sides and back are made of the highest grade quilted mahogany. The flowing grain of the wood is so beautiful that it needs no decoration. The neck is made of rare quarter-sawn Honduran mahogany, which delivers rich bass, while the interior is reinforced with carbon for high stability. Exotic ebony is used for the fingerboard and bridge to further enhance playing comfort and sound responsiveness.
Also noteworthy is the artistry of the exterior. The black and gold resin artwork on the pickguard and head top is handcrafted by skilled painters at the Asuka factory. The expression of the gold twinkling like a star in the deep cosmic black gives off a majestic presence that can truly be called "heavenly protection.
The overall theme of this model is "the life force of the earth and the guidance of the heavens. The wood takes shape from the energy of the earth, and the appearance is as if it is blessed by Polestar, the star that shines in the northern sky. [Condition/Modifications] - The neck and wood have been thoroughly inspected by a craftsman specializing in acoustic guitars, and no repairs are needed. - The neck is straight and free of any chattering or sound clogging issues. - String height on the 12th fret: 2.5mm on the 6th string side, 2.0mm on the 1st string side. - Saddle protrusion: approx. 3.5mm
