Fender Custom Shop was established in 1987 as Fender's premier section,The dream workshop that continues to meet the needs of many musicians and attracts them even now, more than 35 years later, has produced numerous masterpieces with high-quality wood, thin lacquer coating, and time- and cost-efficient construction.

This model reproduces the specifications up to mid-1962 with an alder body, slab-rose fingerboard, and 3 knobs.
The entire body has been subjected to a brick process, and the Fire Mist Silver color with fine weatherchecking adds to its character.

The carefully selected wood produces a higher grade sound with a full vintage tone with warmth in the midrange.
It will gain even more depth as it is played more and more.
