The HD-HANABI is a limited edition model produced by Headway in 2016.
While people tend to focus on the inlays and designs with a fireworks motif, the true essence of the instrument lies in its perfection as a musical instrument.
The body features a Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides, a classic design. In addition to the rich volume you expect from a dreadnought, it also boasts a clear, responsive tone. Chords are clear and spread out, while single notes have a solid, well-defined sound.
Contrary to its appearance, the sound is not too flashy, and the design gives a strong sense of delicacy and ease of control.
The fingerboard and bridge are made of ebony, providing excellent touch response, and the Fishman Matrix Infinity pickups make it ready for live performances and recording.
This model offers an excellent balance between appearance and sound, making it ideal for those who want something different but don't want to compromise on sound quality or playability.
