Gibson / 1995 J-200 Deluxe Maple
The King of Flat-Tops, the Gibson J-200, is coveted by many guitarists, but its true charms are few and far between. Furthermore, the high price and rarity of vintage Gibson J-200s keep the dream from becoming a reality. For the passionate player, finding that ideal piece is truly an endless journey.
This 1995 Gibson J-200 Deluxe Maple is a very special example of that ideal.
The top is made of carefully selected Sitka spruce, and the side backs are made of the finest flame maple available in the Deluxe model. The body back is made of three-piece construction, and the gorgeous grains of wood grain weave together to create a look like a wood craft. The beautiful grain shines in the light, as if the wood is reflecting the sound.
The pickguard is delicately decorated with a flower and ivy motif, giving it a presence that transcends mere decoration. The mustache-style bridge, carved from ebony, transfers all the string vibrations to the body, producing a long, dense sustain.
The head is equipped with gold-finished Imperial-style pegs. The elegant looks and smooth feel of the controls show the luxury that resides in every detail.
This is a Gibson's top-of-the-line instrument, from the selection of woods and decorations to the acoustic design. The overwhelming sound pressure of the super jumbo body and the beauty of the art piece will add a special color to your musical life.
This is a guitar for those who are particular about the authentic sound and style, and who seek a guitar that has "enough value to speak for itself". The vintage air, the glamour of the Deluxe, and the depth that 30 years of time has added, all of these things are what you are looking for.
