The top is crafted from Sitka spruce, while the sides and back feature Brazilian rosewood. Brazilian rosewood is a premium wood prized for its beautiful grain and unique harmonic resonance. Due to regulations, it is now difficult to obtain, making 1960s Martin D-28s particularly rare and valuable.
The neck is mahogany, while the fingerboard and bridge are crafted from ebony. Every aspect of wood selection and craftsmanship represents the pinnacle of quality.
