⬇️Uncovering the History and Complete Story of Gibson's Rare Colors!!

=============================================================
This is a late 1960s model from the Kalamazoo factory, where Gibson also produced acoustic guitars.
Epiphone / FT-79 Cherry Red
This particular instrument features the rare "Cherry Red" color, produced only briefly for just three years between 1967 and 1969, just like Gibson's own models.
Cherry Red has a distinct way of fading over time, giving each piece its own unique character.
It's a wonderful color that lets you feel the history each guitar has lived through.
This particular guitar boasts a beautiful pale reddish-brown hue, with a rich luster and depth, making it a truly exceptional piece.

It features a bolt-on pickguard, an upper belly adjustable bridge, a wood saddle, and is from the final round-shoulder period, making it a truly rare specimen.

We happened to have a J-45 Cherry Red from the same year for comparison.
it's fascinating how the sound differs from other Gibsons of the same era, despite being made in the same factory with nearly identical wood materials and design.

The primary reason is obviously its longer scale length compared to the J-45, but this particular instrument has a characteristically rustic, woody tone. That said, it delivers a genuine vintage sound.
It's a well-known story that the Beatles played "Yesterday," arguably the most famous song using a Texan, in drop E tuning. Playing a G chord in drop E on this instrument lets you experience "that" exact sound.
Epiphone remains an indispensable brand supporting acoustic guitar players worldwide today, carrying on the spirit of New York's craftsmen.
Experiencing a page from that history is truly precious.
