Fender Master Builder Paul Waller created the 2021 Esquire Heavy Relic!

This is a reissue of an Esquire that has been in the Fender lineup since 1950.

Around 1953, Esquire's position marks at the 12th fret became wider and the screws were changed from flat head screws to Phillips head screws.

This model also reproduced the specifications after the specification change in every detail such as position marks and screws.

The 3-way switch is a tone selector and can produce various sounds with preset tone/regular tone/straight tone, although it is a single PU.

The pickups are Hand Wound Broadcaster PUs wound by Josefina Campos, a pupil of Abigail Ybarra.

The crisp sound with a good sense of separation between each string is exquisite not only for clean tone chord strokes, but also when distorted with a lot of gusto, without losing its contour and character!

The response to picking is fast, and the intensity of the sound can be expressed well!

A front PU counterbore is dug under the pickguard, and a complete set of Telecaster pickguard, front PU, and assembly are included as accessories!

This Esquire is so dignified that it could be mistaken for a vintage one at a glance!
