What is Mid-Fi Sound...
Mid-Fi sound is a term used to describe the sound quality of MG Bass. It does not refer to the tone itself.
So, what is the Mid-Fi sound?
It is not the clean, high quality, fast rising, audio-like hi-fi sound of a modern high-end bass.
Nor is it a lo-fi sound that is pleasant but unwieldy and does not come forward when mixed with other instruments.
It is a sound somewhere in between.
We call it the "Mid-Fi sound," which is high quality sound with a quick start-up, yet has an organic flavor and is pleasant to the ear.
Mid-Fi sound matches any kind of music. Its high sound quality and quick startup keep the bass sound in a bass-like position in the ensemble. At the same time, it reproduces the nuances of the player's picking well, expanding the range of expression through playing.
Furthermore, the Mid-Fi sound has an organic flavor, so the bass sound does not stand out from the band's sound. It can support the whole sound while blending in.
