After master Leo Fender introduced the Precision Bass and Jazz Bass to the world at Fender, the StingRay was released by MUSIC MAN in 1976.Its rich, full-bodied tone has continued to be favored by countless artists to this day, establishing itself as a classic model in the lineup.
This instrument was manufactured in 1993 and has been modified with replaced pickups.
It features a 6-point neck joint, a wheel-style truss rod adjustment, and a battery box with a metal plate. The neck has a satin finish.
The wide-range EQ allows for a broad spectrum of sound shaping. The sharp, cutting attack characteristic of a maple fingerboard accentuates the unique character of the StingRay.
This is a beautiful instrument with a maple fingerboard that has aged to perfection!
