The Moon Sault 40 is a complete reissue of the original Moon Sault!

The production of the original Moon Sault was discontinued in 1985, and while new Moon Sault models continued to be released with specification changes, there were constant requests from users who wanted the original specifications.
In 1997, in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of Kawai Gakki, the 20th anniversary of the Moon Sault, and the 40th anniversary of Kawai's first guitar, a reissue model was released, made to the same specifications, using the same methods and parts as the original Moon Sault.
This is the Moon Sault 40.
Except for minor specification changes in parts, the manufacturing method and jigs are the same as those used at that time.
You can feel the efforts and commitment of KAWAI and its engineers just like the original!
