Outline of Monke B trumpet
Monke B♭Rotary trumpet with 138mm bell. Silver plated finish. 3 rotary extractor tube with auto trigger retrofitted. Silver plated. No case. Sold as body only.
Condition
There is a shallow dent on the curve of the No. 3 rotary extractor tube and a mark where the rotary lever seat was reattached. Soft parts have been replaced. All parts have been serviced.

The Monke trumpet gave birth to the massive and brilliant sound of the Karajan/Berlin era trumpets. Mr. H. Eichler, the principal player leading the iron-clad brass section, dared to use B instead of C♭The Monke trumpet is the most popular trumpet of the first generation. The new arrival was made during the Helmich period, the first pupil of the first Monke. The only engraving is on the bell, and two pillars are attached to the No. 3 extraction pipe, which was made around 1970. Monke B♭Monke B has a large bell and its powerful sound gives the impression that the instrument itself is heavy, but most of the Monke's of this age have a thin bell, and the weight of this new arrival is light at 982 grams. The response is also light and does not give the impression of harshness. Please enjoy its brilliant and powerful sound.
