—Luxurious inlays adorning the back of the body
The rosewood back features a flower cup inlaid with wood, as well as a flower inlay combining wood, white mother-of-pearl, and abalone shell.
A subtle detail is the use of wood with varying shades to create shading on the flower cups.
It gives you the sensation of looking at a work of art.
—Cutaway Body
The top is made of Sitka spruce, while the rosette and binding are made of maple.
A bevel cut is applied to the area where the elbow rests, ensuring comfortable playing.
Additionally, the cutaway design provides excellent access to the higher frets.
—OMEGA Fingerboard
A defining feature of the Merida is the OMEGA, which is highly resistant to humidity and environmental changes.
Wood and resin are pressed together at high density, giving it an appearance reminiscent of ebony.
The fingerboard also features inlays combining white mother-of-pearl and abalone shell.
—Slim Taper Neck
The mahogany neck is finished with a slim profile, ensuring comfortable playability even with modern playing styles.
It allows for comfortable chord work even during strumming.
- OMEGA Bridge
The OMEGA bridge, crafted from the same material as the fingerboard, is finished with a clear coat and features petal-inspired decorations on the underside.
- Headstock
The gloss-finished headstock features luxurious flower inlays.
You can see that the A18 is a model with luxurious decorations.
