[Overview]
American Selmer Tenor Saxophone Mark Six (hereinafter MK6). Serial number 70xxx. Neck and body match. Manufactured in 1957. Accessories: Semi-hard case (VGV), wooden body plug
[Condition]
95% of original lacquer finish remains. Matching neck (minor dent repair with lacquer loss at the repair site / no pull-down). There is a history of relocation of the strap ring mount. The current mount position is the MK6 default. Shallow dent repair mark on the bell rim. Low C key guard mount reattached in one location. Overhauled and adjusted via disassembly and cleaning of the body, and replacement of all pads (*), corks, and felts.
*Pads feature CHANU plastic resonators. (Factory-installed pads were metal resonators without rivets.)
