The SONGWRITER, introduced in 2003, features a square-shoulder body combining spruce and rosewood.
This model is the DELUXE version with a cutaway.

Despite its square shoulder body, this is a cutaway model.
This makes it well-suited for genres that heavily utilize higher positions, like modern styles.
It features the PREFIX PLUS-T pickup, a collaboration between Gibson and FISHMAN.
This preamp excels in various settings, offering a 3-band EQ plus FREQUENCY controls for cutting/boosting specific frequency bands and NOTCH controls for eliminating specific noises and feedback.
The top is made of spruce.
It features a square shoulder body with the right side cut away.
A crack repair is visible at the center of the top, but it has been thoroughly reinforced to prevent further cracking, ensuring reliable use.
The pickguard features a design unique to SONGWRITER, with a shape that blends elements of both large and small pickguards.
The rosette sparkles with abalone shell inlay

The sides and back feature straight-grained Indian rosewood.
This adds tension and depth to the bright sound.
A back strip is incorporated.
The fingerboard is crafted from jet-black ebony and features double parallelogram inlays.
The neck is crafted from mahogany, featuring a slim C-shaped grip.
This allows for comfortable playing even with a gripping style like a shakehand.
Ebony is used for the bridge, matching the fingerboard.
The rounded bridge form features short saddles.
The headstock, made from quarter-sawn rosewood veneer, features Gibson's modern logo and a crown inlay.
The bell-shaped truss rod cover is a 2P design.
The headstock shape is characterized by its plump form.
GROVER 102G tuning machines are employed.

- No noticeable scratches or dents; in beautiful condition.
-No muffled or buzzing notes; plays well.
-String height at 12th fret: 6th string side 2.5mm, 1st string side 2.0mm
-Saddle protrusion: approx. 2.5mm to 3.5mm
- Electrical system is in good working order.
- Body top has crack repair.
- Nuts have been replaced with oil-soaked cow bone nuts.
- The fourth key for the hard case is broken, but the remaining keys function properly, so please rest assured.
