2004-2006 Fender Japan TL62-65US model featuring alder body, US pickups and aged pickguard.

The Fender Telecaster was born in 1951, and as the roots of the solid electric guitar, various models and specifications have been created up to the present day. The TL62-65US released by Fender Japan is a reproduction of the original Telecaster made in 1962, using alder wood for the body, which contains sound well and produces a warm midrange, and slabboard rosewood for the fingerboard, with the joint surface with the maple neck affixed flat. This model is a reproduction of the original 1962 Telecaster. The pickguard is a black-and-white and white 3-ply pickguard with an aged pickguard that reproduces the green pickguard found on vintage Telecasters, giving this Telecaster a strong vintage taste in terms of both looks and sound.
