Shoreline gold with gold hardware, all gold, a very rare 1962 Jazzmaster.

This is one of the rarest all-gold Jazzmasters among the custom colors of the slabboard period. The anodized guard was originally used only until around 1959, and the shoreline gold-colored body is made of mahogany, an extremely rare specification. The maple neck has elegant graining and bird's eye, and the fingerboard is made of solidly packed hakaranda. The mahogany body produces a fat, sweet, mellow sound in the midrange that no other Jazzmaster can produce.

One theory is that Leo Fender found an anodized guard in a warehouse in the 1960s, and produced it as a color sample of Shoreline Gold, making it one of the most valuable Jazzmasters in the world. Comes with the original Brown Torex case, and is a very rare Jazzmaster that is unique in both sound and looks.
