Hichiriki (Hichiriki) made of sooty bamboo, Sakuragabaki (cherry bark wrapped with soot and bamboo) at a reasonable price, with a beautiful maki-e lacquer-work box.

[Outline]
Hichiriki. Hichiriki is made of sooty bamboo. Cherry birch wrapped. 1 reed tongue (unused). Comes with a lacquer-lacquered box with maki-e lacquer.

[Condition.]
There is a crack on the back of the body under the finger hole.Condition It has been used only a few times. It has been kept in the box, so it is in beautiful condition. The maki-e and urushi lacquer on the box is also in beautiful condition.

[Features]
The inner diameter of the barrel is long, and the barrel end is a little thicker than the thinness of the figure.
The maximum inner diameter of the tip of the zumochi is 14 mm (slightly oval in the horizontal direction), and the maximum inner diameter of the butt of the tube is 10 mm.

The Hichiriki is a double reed wind instrument that plays the main melody in Japanese court music, Gagaku. It is said to have come from China shortly before the Nara period (710-794). The body is made of bamboo. The inside of the windpipe is lacquered. The head, tail, and fingerholes are reinforced with thin strips of rattan or birch bark. The length of a typical Hichiriki (= small Hichiriki) is about 18 cm. The reed is about 5.5 centimeters long and is about the same size as a bassoon.
