SEAGULL by M.Shiozaki / 2000 SS-82L
A work of art by a craftsman in pursuit of vintage Martin.
M. Shiozaki stringed instrument studio in Ehime, Shikoku
SEAGULL by M.Shiozaki, made by founder and luthier Masaaki Shiozaki
This 000-size guitar is made of finely-transparent and beautiful spruce on the top.

The sides and back are made of Brazilian rosewood, a rare and beautiful wood with undulating grain.

The rosette and purfling are decorated with gorgeous ornaments reminiscent of a Martin 42.
The finish is not only pleasing to the ear but also to the eye.

The fingerboard inlay has a snowflake carefully embedded in it, and you can tell that this is a guitar for the high-end market.

The mahogany neck is V-shaped for a comfortable grip and comfortable chord changes.

The open back tuning machines are made by Weverly, which is also used on vintage reissue Martins.

The saddle is the characteristic long saddle specification of prewar Martins, a point not to be overlooked.

The sound of the 000 shape body is not too bright but moderately calm, and the deep bass sound envelopes the whole sound.
It also produces a bright sound with a three-dimensional feel on strokes.
We highly recommend this model to those who are looking for an authentic Japanese-made model.
