Selmer (Fraser) tenor saxophone, Mark VI (MK6). Lacquer finish. Equipped with High F♯ key. Serial number 130xxx. Made in 1965. Accessories: Accessories: Domestic New Japanese hard case from original sale ( BE.A/interior shows wear), Body plug (plastic)
[Condition]
Re-lacquered. Pull-down on neck, dents repaired around octave key guard and U-tube sides. High F key guard missing (no effect on playability/not included on current Selmer models).Side F♯ key cover re-soldered. Spotty lacquer discoloration on neck. Lacquer loss on body back and some keys. Fully cleaned inside/outside, overhauled with all pads (CHANU pads, plastic resonators), felt, and cork replaced.

Regarding condition: This particular instrument required correction of dents and warping. However, the original body had high potential. After overhaul and meticulous adjustment, it has been restored to a state showcasing the characteristic mid-period VI's rich tonal depth and clear, focused core.Air flows smoothly across the entire range; the bass is thick and resilient, while the treble projects effortlessly forward with excellent projection.
