This is a BOSS SD-1 manufactured in '81!

The asymmetrical overdrive circuit inherited from the OD-1 is employed, and a new tone control that can boost/cut the high frequencies is provided. Due to changes in circuit details, it has a slightly higher gain and more solid texture audibly compared to the OD-1. It is possible to create sweet and mild distortion without killing the nuances of subtle picking. The op-amp is JRC4558D (glossy/#0373), which was manufactured around 1981. SD-1 was manufactured in Japan until the middle of 1989, and then the production line was moved to Taiwan. Also, there are some signs of overall use, but there are no problems with operation.
