The mysterious "Purple Humper" pedal, which was made by BJF in very small quantities, has been reissued!

The Purple Humper is a mid-range booster, but it has a different sound than overdrive, wah halves, and other common mid boosters. It can make your amp sound like a vintage British amp in a live house or studio, or it can give you a mellow lead sound like a humbucker with a single coil, or a heavy distortion. This is a beautiful item with little use.
