Huber mutes are made in Brooklyn, New York. Huber mutes are made in Brooklyn, New York, and include cups, straights, wah-wahs, pixies, solo tones, and many other mutes. What is consistent is that all of them are "old classical mutes that are no longer available".BassThe "old classic mute" is the most popular.
We have reissued the vintage sounds of Shastock, Ray Robinson, and the Chicago era News Tone line, with Huber Music's own interpretation, in a more manageable form.
● Straight
Available in three different materials for the bottom.
"Plastic".has a softer sound profile and a more expansive sound. It is ideal for situations where a calm and warm tone is required.
Stainless Steel.has a unique jarring sound that can even be felt as a harshness. It is dark, heavy, and powerful when blown in, a character not found in other mutes.
Aluminumhas a well-focused sound with a good tone profile. It is the most familiar to most players, but it provides a slightly softer nuance.
●Cups
The sound varies depending on the combination of two types of bodies and three types of cups, each of which is sold separately.
Body
"Type A".is designed with a large entrance hole and a long straight section. Inspired by the Shastock cup mute, it produces a bright, open cup sound.
Type B".is Huber's original design. The entrance hole is smaller and the taper is longer to allow more space inside, emphasizing the soft, cup-like sound. The familiar cup sound.

Step Wah
Not your typical wah-wah sound, but perfect for the sweeter sounds required in swing jazz.is a step wah-wah sound, not a typical wah-wah sound.1944Harry Edison used this instrument on a recording in 1964.
● Solo tone
This solo mute, inspired by the Shastock of the 1930s, offers a choice of three different blowing tones and sounds: open, M, and L, together with the two included parts. It may be used in Dixie or older era big bands.
● Pixie
Used in conjunction with a plunger mute, it produces a versatile, open sound. The sound does not turn over easily even when the plunger is closed, providing a stable low frequency range and secure playing.
The traditional style round type has a slightly compact and cohesive sound. The flat-bottomed type has an open, modern sound. Both types have evolved into easy-to-use mutes with excellent pitch balance compared to the conventional Pixie.
Mellow Wah
The mellow wah-wah provides clear intonation while maintaining the vintage sound. This is the only choice for situations where a softer, more subtle sound than a wah-wah is required!
