Fontaine Besson (French Besson) B♭Trumpet BREVETÉ . French bead 120mm yellowbrass bell. 11.68mm (460") bore. Instrument weight 1022 grams. Silver plated finish. No case. Made around 1960.
[Condition]
There is a history of dent repair at the base of the bell, bell body, and bell flare. There are some scratches and scratches on the plating, but there is no noticeable peeling or damage. Piston tightness is slightly loose. Heavy oiling has been done to keep it in good condition for normal playing. The inside of the pipe has been cleaned, soft mono has been replaced, and various parts have been serviced, inspected, and adjusted.

The flagship model of F. Besson, the originator of the modern piston-valve trumpet that swept Europe and the United States in the 1920s, the BREVETThis is a late model of the É(*). The incoming shipment was destroyed by fire in 1957.After the factory in France was closed down due to a fire in 1957, the trumpet was manufactured by Besson in England, with whom F. Besson had a connection. The bell "LAURA" is thought to have been commissioned by the previous owner. The bright and lustrous tone is attractive.
