This is a reissue model of a fuzz pedal that incorporates two of the famous "Muff Fuzz" circuits from the early days of Electro-Harmonix!

The double "Muff" circuit has the power to produce extreme fuzz sounds. In single mode, it reproduces the distortion of the Muff Fuzz of the time, with a drive sound that responds to the guitar's volume and picking. In double mode, the distortion is doubled for a more aggressive and extreme distortion sound, and the two "Muff" units can be used to produce a wide range of sounds from crunch to high gain. True bypass. This reissue has been rare in recent years.
