The FET-based circuit (single-stage amplification), which does not use ICs or diodes, delivers a raw sound with no coloration. In addition to GAIN, which can be boosted by up to 26dB, TREBLE and BASS controls are provided, and these settings can be changed to full range/treble boost/Bassboost, mid boost, and more.
