Limited model painted by Tom Murphy

Tom Murphy has been a member of the Gibson Custom Shop since its inception, and is an indispensable figure in the company's history, having led the development of the Historic Collection, the cornerstone of the Gibson Custom Shop. He is responsible for the paint job on this Les Paul, using his proven techniques backed up by his many years of experience. The hand-selected figured maple top on the top of the body, combined with the gloss paint, has a beautiful and bewitching grain that is sure to catch the eye of anyone who sees it. Although the paintwork tends to be the focus of attention, the construction of the main body is also a matter of record. There are no compromises in the construction, such as the use of Nikawa adhesives and Bumblebee replica capacitors. This is a great looking guitar that can be displayed with the words, "I'm always in love with your face. This is a top-of-the-line Les Paul reissue model that was made possible by the time and cost invested by the Custom Shop.
