Most JB-4As are 70s style with ash body, neck binding, and block position marks, but this model has an ash body with no binding and dot position marks.

While it has a traditional look, it also has PGM's signature tsubudashi 21 frets, which covers a wide range of notes.
The preamp is a Bartolini XTCT, which produces a powerful sound with a wide range.
