YAMAHA's original model SG1000!

The development of Yamaha electric guitars began around 1965.
The late Genichi Kawakami, the president of the company at that time, ordered the staff to produce all original electric guitars.
The Yamaha SG is a pure-bred original shape guitar in Japan, and has been on the market to this day with many specification changes and diversified models.
The SG1000 was released in 1976, and is still one of the most popular SG models. The SG1000 features the Bi-Sound system, which allows a single sound to be obtained by coil-tapping the humbucking pickups, and the Direct Circuit, which prevents the high frequencies of the sound from being lost to the ground.
The specification of SG1000 was changed in 1986, and this model is the early model with a 3-piece maple/mahogany neck.

The pickups have been replaced with DiMarzio DP193 and DP161, and while it has the characteristic comp feel of SG1000, it has a good balance of all bands and matches with various distortions.
