Japan's representative domestic original shape guitar that has captivated many musicians

Around 1965, the development of Yamaha electric guitars began. The president of the company at the time, Genichi Kawakami, ordered the staff to produce all original electric guitars. The Yamaha SG is a pure-bred original shape guitar in Japan, and has been on the market to this day, with many specification changes and diversified models.

The SG1000 was released in 1976, and is still one of the most popular SG models. The SG1000 features the Bi-Sound system, which allows a single sound to be obtained by coil-tapping the humbucking pickups, and the Direct Circuit, which prevents the high frequencies of the sound from being lost to the ground. The set-neck construction with a 3-piece mahogany and maple neck deeply jointed to the mahogany body provides a solid attack, sweet and firm midrange, and a sense of unity in the sound. The SG1000, which can be called the basic axis of the set-neck SG, is a famous instrument that has been loved by people from all over the world. It is a guitar that can be used in practice even today, and is sure to be appreciated by generations of guitarists who have never heard of the SG, saying, "I've never seen this guitar before, but it has a nice sound.
