1966 LG-1 with a dead tone and brown sunburst
Gibson / 1966 LG-1
The LG series was born between 1942 and 1943 as a renewal of the small-body L series. In 1958, the all-mahogany LG-1-0 was added, followed by the all-mahogany LG-1-0 in 1963. In 1963, the model name of LG-2/3 (Little) was renumbered to B-25 (Baby).
The ladder bracing gives the LG-1 a cheezy tone in a good sense, and it is a model with deep-rooted popularity among blues lovers. This is a chic little piece that you will want to take out for a little session. The weather check on the paint film and the faded brown sunburst give it a sense of history. Nevertheless, it is in very good appearance and playing condition considering its age. How about carrying around a chic vintage acoustic guitar?
