Explanation
Do you find yourself thinking, "I love the Jazzmaster's sound, but the reissues lack that depth," or "I want a light, airy tone, but modern models feel a bit harsh"?
Introduced in 1958, the Jazzmaster was born as Fender's top-tier model at the time. Its floating tremolo's sway and unique pickup configuration produced a delicate, rich tone unmatched by other models. Even through the grunge and alternative eras, countless artists remain captivated by this guitar.
1966 Fender Jazzmaster Bind / Block. The combination of the period-specific round-laminated rosewood fingerboard and maple neck delivers a tight, balanced sound across the entire frequency range. Furthermore, the soapbar pickups masterfully blend the gritty high-end clarity and projection with the rich midrange thickness, allowing you to fully savor the vintage Jazzmaster's charm.
Light and comfortable cutting, air-vibrating harmonics, and the resonance of the wood felt at your fingertips. All of this achieves an authentic original sound unattainable with current models. The neck, featuring beautiful flame grain, is visually stunning and elevates the player's excitement. Sound, looks, feel – this is a supreme instrument exuding allure in every aspect.
This 1966 Jazzmaster, from the short-lived Binding & Block period, is extremely difficult to find today. Well-preserved examples are disappearing from the market year by year. It's truly a vintage piece you'll want to acquire while you still can.
Experience its deep tone, comfortable cutting action, and the unique presence only vintage instruments possess. We invite you to hold this instrument in your hands and feel how it infuses your playing with the essence of its era. This sound, this resonance, remains strikingly vivid even after half a century.
