Gibson / 1964 LG-1
The "LG-1" was introduced in 1943 as a small-body guitar with ladder bracing.
Although it was a low-priced guitar in the lineup, it is a model with a unique sound character and has a secret core fan base.
The one introduced here was made in 1964.
The nut width is 42mm, but the pitch between the strings is narrower, so it plays like a narrow neck.
Combined with the airy feel of the plastic bridge, you can enjoy a good box sound even though it is made of plywood.
The strong black sunburst color, which is unique to this age, enhances the austerity of the instrument and gives it a good appearance.
