Vintage J-200N with slim 60s regular neck specs
Gibson / 1960 J-200N
1960 J-200N with Grover "Patent Pend." engraved gold tuners.
The original finish is a natural color with a very worn look and a candy-colored finish.
The neck has been thinned to a D-shape.
The nut width is about 42mm, but the grip is sharper than the 50s.
The neck end has a stinger that was corrected during the manufacturing process, which matches the black paint on the back of the headstock, creating a very stylish design.
The checkering throughout the entire instrument tells the history of the instrument and gives it an imposing dignity.
The grain on the body is relatively subdued, but the neck is finely flamed, further enhancing the Gibison's top-of-the-line appeal.
The Grover tuners on the headstock have lost some of their plating over time, and the naturally aged appearance is extremely cool.
The headstinger and Gibson modern logo are also a perfect match.
The fingerboard and bridge are made of Hakaranda.
The bridge at this time is still an open mastash type, continuing the specifications of the 50's.
The closed bridge is very cool and full of rock taste, but the simple open bridge also matches the natural finish very well.
The hakaranda fretboard has a texture that gives a sense of density, and the black lines running through it are very cool.
The frets are original and wide large size.
The sound has both the weight and brilliance characteristic of the J-200,
In addition, it has a sharp rise. The sound image is a little tight.
The responsive and clear sound makes you feel as if you are playing a high-end guitar.
The vintage coloration is added to it, so it is the best item as a playing gear.
