[Features & Attractiveness]
Lotus SILVER FLARE uses sterling silver for the bell flare (the morning glory at the end of the bell). Starting with the long-established American trumpet maker KING, various makers have produced trumpets with silver bells for nearly a hundred years. Although the rich sound of silver bells is attractive, it is difficult to achieve the lightness and agility of response that brass bells offer, so the type of performance and music must be chosen. The SILVER FLARE by Lotus has boldly taken on this difficult challenge and has reached a point of perfection. While it has the rich sound of a silver bell, it has none of the heaviness or difficulty in control that one feels when playing a conventional trumpet with a silver bell. From a sweet and soft tone to a brilliant sound with a good release, this is a trumpet that can be played without any stress. By using the three different types of tuning tubes (bronze, nickel, and yellow brass), it can be used in all genres, from classical playing to big band and solo playing.

*From 2024, the strut connecting the bell to the body has been molded in three parts to eliminate mutual pulling of the bell and body during instrument ensemble. This has realized a rich, stress-free sound and smooth sound connection across the entire register. In addition, the No. 3 extractor tube is equipped with an aluminum stopper screw and LOW E♭outer tube is installed to accommodate the low register for improved playability.
