[Overview]
BSC (Brass Sound Creation) C trumpet, Armand. 133mm two-piece yellow brass bell. Reverse tuning tube. 11.70mm ML bore. Silver plated finish. Instrument weight 1064 grams. No case. Made in 2010s. List price 594,000 yen.

[Condition]
Very small shallow dents on the back curve of the bell. Other than that, there are some thin polishing marks and some scuff marks. The condition is beautiful, with no noticeable scratches and no plating peeling. The inside of the pipe has been cleaned, soft parts have been replaced, and all parts have been serviced and adjusted.

[Features]
BSC's Armando has been on the market since around 2008. In Japan, Yukihiro Sekiyama, who was the principal player of NHK Symphony Orchestra at that time, shifted from V.Bach, which he had been using for many years, to Almand. BSC Armando, which was a longtime favorite of Mr. Yukihiro Sekiyama, and it was a great leap into the limelight. While conventional piston valve type C trumpets have long bells, the Armand features a compact layout similar to a short E♭/D trumpet, without the resistance and harshness of the C trumpet, which requires constant pitch lifting and blowing. It can be played with a feeling similar to that of a B-flat pipe. The pitch can be easily controlled with a moderate degree of freedom. The sound has a soft texture with a gorgeous sound that is easy to blend with stringed instruments, giving it a feel similar to that of a rotary trumpet.
