Made by Mr. Sakae Ishii, a master craftsman in Nagano Prefecture
He started his own workshop in 1984 after 10 years of production at "Chachi Kobo" in 1972.
Mr. Ishii uses his own tools for bending boards, which he made through trial and error, as well as his own guitar molds, and he creates his guitars with extraordinary dedication and passion.

The model introduced here is the No. 48, which is smaller in size than the regular classic.
The scale is 550mm, so it can be tuned for recinto (A,D,G,C,E,A) and alto (B,E,A,D,F♯,B).

Cedar top and rosewood sides/back.
Although the guitar is designed to produce high notes, the grain is rounded and warm with a beautiful nylon string sound.
