This is a Japanese fuzz/wah pedal made by Guyatone in the 1970s!
The right side of the two switches in the front is for fuzz on/off and the left side is for switching the fuzz tone. You can choose between a don-shari type tone and a mid-boost type tone. Both produce a powerful sound with a strong upper octave sound mixed in. The left side control is for the amount of fuzz distortion, and the right side control is for the fuzz output. As with the normal pedal, the wah can be turned on and off by pressing down hard on the tip of the pedal. The wah has a powerful low and a strong kick. When used with a fuzz, it can produce a jet-like extreme effect. It is also worth mentioning that unlike normal wahs, the "wah" is on the heel side and the "wah" is on the toe side. The chrome-plated chassis of this model makes a strong impression from its appearance, and it is believed to be an OEM product of Nisshin Sonoha, a well-known manufacturer of the "Maxon" brand. It is also exported overseas under other popular "Ibanez" and "MICA" brand names. At this time, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) by Shin-Ei Denki, known for Univivew, Nisshin Oto-Wave, and Keio Giken, etc., is very active, and the exact details are not known. Similar OEM models include MICA "WAU-WAU-WAILER SG-17C", PAX "PEDAL NOMBER ONE FUZZ-WAH", ELK "WAU FUZZ WF-1000", etc.
