[Overview]
Silky S Series C trumpet, first model. 5" yellow brass soldered beadbell. 11.75mm large bore, gold plated finish. Gold-plated finish. Instrument weight 950 grams. Serial number 51xxx, made in 2006. (There is a 50th anniversary imprint on the valve casing, but this is an imprint applied to instruments made in this period, and there are no special specification parts.) No case. [Condition.]
The top of the valve casing, the extractor tube, and some parts of the bell are dotted with areas where the gold plating has worn and faded. It is in beautiful condition with no dents or noticeable flaws. Valve tightness, piston action, and movement of each tube are good. The inside of the tubes have been cleaned, all soft mono has been replaced, and various parts have been adjusted and serviced. The inside of the pipe has been cleaned, felt, water key, corks have all been replaced, and all parts have been adjusted and serviced.
