This is a Phase 100 manufactured around 1976, with the original MXR case and script logo!

This is a high-end model of MXR phaser with 6-stage phase circuit, and the width and depth of sweep can be switched in 4 ways by intensity. It uses a photo coupler in the circuit, and when the SPEED is turned up, it produces a psychedelic sound reminiscent of the 'Uni-Vibe'. The mellow and creamy texture of the sound is unique to vintage machines. In the old days, many professionals used to set SPEED to zero to add color to their tones.
