Single soft case for one trumpet is new for 2019 (this model is not in the domestic catalog). Lighter and more compact than the conventional semi-hard type. The difference from ordinary soft cases is that the base part is semi-hard and only the lid part is soft; by using two different strength materials, the case has a certain strength, lightness, and small size.
Inside is a hard urethane cushion to hold the instrument in place. The bell, U-shaped section, and piston are securely guarded by a semi-hard outer frame. The weak points compared to the previous model are that the number of foot studs has been reduced from four to three, making it less self-supporting than the previous model, and the pockets have become smaller. However, once you get used to using it, you won't mind it so much, so we recommend it to those who are looking for a soft case that can be placed vertically. The inner space can hold a practice mute or mouthpiece pouch, and the outer pocket can hold a few small items. 135mm bell diameter and longer bells such as the CONN 38B can be easily accommodated.
