Fender Japan was founded in 1982 by the team that produced the 'Super Real Series' Greco copy models, which were highly acclaimed by the original Fender.
The "L69" is an "all-rose" Telecaster with rosewood body and neck. The semi-hollow rosewood body has a pancake construction with a thin maple board in the center, and the neck is one-piece rosewood. Maple wood is skunk striped. The pickups are gray bobbin single coil pickups. The original was a proto type made around the end of 1968, and was produced from 1969 to 1972. The original was used by George Harrison and others, and is a rare model with extremely small number of original production, and the price has risen year by year in the vintage market.
The original production was extremely small, and the price of this rare model has been rising year by year in the vintage market.
Although this model was made in Japan, the body itself is almost 30 years old and looks and sounds great!
The unique sound of the rosewood and the tightness of the sound are very comfortable!
