Description

German tenor trombone made by a specialized manufacturer on an OEM basis at an unbeatable price!

[Overview]
German tenor trombone. 228mm bell.Bell-crux is fixed (will not come off).Mouthpiece shank is medium thickness. Mouthpiece shank is German shank. Weite 3 : 12.9-13.4. Comes with genuine hard case (some scratches commensurate with its age).

[Condition.]
Low brass, dull and dotted with light rust stains. The joint part was originally a tapered insert type, but it is thought to have been converted to a locking ring type in later years. There is no major damage or history of accidents to the slide, but there is a slight distortion due to age-related deterioration, and the slide does not move smoothly. Please understand this in advance. (Sold as-is).

[Features]
Tenor trombone with the emblem of Leisel, a German general musical instrument trading company that existed before the war, affixed to the bell. After the war, the company handled exports and sales of Mirafon, Cherveny, Roland Meinl, etc. Before the war, it seems that the company sold OEM products with its own plate pasted on them, like Carl Fischer in the US. The trombone in this shipment was probably manufactured by a German brass instrument maker at that time (probably Monke or Kuhn). It is not like Kruspe's Weschke model which was made in the same period. It is not a figure "C" shaped bell-crook, but it is the same as the Weschke model made in the same period.Fixed typeThe slide also does not have a tuning tube. The specification is the same as the Weschke model, which also has no tuning tube on the slide.
