Vintage cornet by CONN, a favorite of legendary jazz cornetist Bix Beiderbeck.

[Overview]
C.G. Conn B♭Cornet 82A Victor model. 116mm yellowbrass bell. Comes with genuine vintage hard case (one hinge broken). 1937.

[CONDITION]
The lacquer paint on the tube has been stripped. There are no noticeable scratches, dents, or functional defects. The piston airtightness is a little loose, but this will not affect normal playing if high viscosity oil is used. Pipe has been cleaned, soft mono replaced, and serviced.

[Features]
Vintage C.G. Cohn cornet known to have been carried by legendary white jazz cornetist Bix Beiderbeck. The inverted U-shaped tube behind the bell isThe inverted U-shaped tube behind the bell is a micro-tuning mechanism, commonly known as an "opera glass. The micro-tuning mechanism was developed as an excellent tool to fine-tune the pitch with the left hand while operating the piston. It was developed as a "jazz" model, but not a blowing model. This model is not limited to jazz, but was designed with brass bands and wind bands in mind. You can enjoy the taste of early American cornet.
