Yokoyama Guitars / AN-WC
Yokoyama Guitars" was established by Tadashi Yokoyama, who had a long career at "Morris".
After a long career, he is still pursuing tonewoods, and his research as a researcher is also an appealing aspect of this brand.
This time, we would like to introduce "AN-WC".
This is an auditorium size non-cutaway model, which may be a little unusual for Yokoyama.
White spruce, which has acoustic characteristics similar to those of Adirondack spruce, and Camatillo wood side backs are familiar specs.
Although this is a familiar spec for Yokoyama, it is rarely used by other makers due to its high degree of processing difficulty.
In terms of sound quality, it is somewhere between Hakaranda and Ebony, and it produces a slightly hard bass response with clear contours.
Rather than playing chords powerfully, the Camatillo shows its true value in solo guitar playing, as typified by Isato Nakagawa and Toshi Komatsubara.
The number of Camatillos is decreasing every year, and it is getting harder and harder to find them at Yokoyama Guitars.
No big scratches that stand out. It comes with a genuine hard case.
